The Ed Hardy brand has stores across the globe. Each one is decorated with vinyl decals of old school tattoo designs. While this does look good the head honchos decided that their first UK flagship store, while keeping all the original flavor of the designs, needed to be a little less generic and show a lot more character. They wanted the designs to be painted straight onto the walls so the artwork really fitted the store. Organic artwork with an urban edge, so..... They called the Street Art Legends to pimp their store!
"We decided we needed some graffiti artists to realise our vision of the Manchester flagship store. We met with a few artists before commisioning the project but it became clear that the Street Art Legends were the ones for the job. They contributed new ideas and really understood what we wanted. It was their passion and professional outlook that made this an enjoyable project from begining to end.
