Applying Car Paint

A cheaper alternative to professional car painting job is by doing it yourself. Although this may pose a risk, this can still be effective if you only use it for fixing scratches or repainting small patches. The thing here is that you must not paint the entire vehicle because you might not like the result. Additionally, your vehicle may look ridiculous as you may not have the knowledge or the skill to paint the whole thing. Otherwise, if you have a great knowledge about the task, then you can go for it as you may.

For beginners, you may choose to look for different grades of sandpaper and several bottles of the desired colour of spray paint. Sandpapers are great to smoothen out the areas where you want to repaint. Sanding down your vehicle may be tedious but it is a necessary process that you must comply. Choose the 600, 1500 and the 2000 grit, and use them accordingly. Make sure that your vehicle is already nice and glossy before you begin with the painting. A primer may be needed if you have noticed some dents on your car.

After you have done that part, you may already begin painting your sedan. The secret here is to get calm and ensure that areas receive even amounts of paint. The risk here is that you may not have control over your stroke where it can get a bit tricky. Do the second coating once the first coat has dried down. After a few days of letting it dry, you may apply some car wax on it and you are ready to go.
